What a special moment, as three generations of the Leon A. Gorman family celebrated the naming of Leon A. Gorman Lobby in Maine Medical Center’s soon-to-be-opened patient care tower on Congress Street.
Leon’s daughter, Jennifer Wilson, said of her father, “He may not have wanted his name so front and center, but our family felt it was really important.” We agree! The lobby was named in honor of Leon and his family’s strong tradition of commitment to Maine Medical Center. Leon was a Trustee for many years, and his wife, Lisa, along with his children were early donors to The NEXT 150 Campaign, an investment in our patients, care teams and community.
